Description:
Critical Software, a software engineering company with a strong presence in the international markets and high growth profile looks for a Software Engineer to be responsible for full life-cycle software development and customer interaction/front-end and interface activities. The colaborator is to be integrated in a highly-qualified and motivated project team working in the Defence domain. The candidate must be able to work independently, be autonomous, with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to collaborate on software development activities, assisting the remaining project team and to work as an interface between the customer and the project team, regarding requirements change issues, reporting, information sharing, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Engineering academic degree (preferably on Computer Science) and relevant professional experience (minimum 3 years);
* Very good technology skills across application software development (requirements, architecture, implementation and testing), operating systems (Windows 200/XP) and programming in general.
* Must have good knowledge of OOP concepts and UML.
* Must have advanced/expert C++/C# (Visual C++ .NET) skills and knowledge.
* Must have excellent documentation skills and mastery of the English language.
* Desirable to have some database knowledge (SQL Server and/or Oracle DBMS).
* Good understanding of networking concepts and networks in general.
* Good communication and social skills for interaction with the customer.
